TABLE TENNIS DECKS

Project submitted by an interior designer on behalf of a new and major venue in Coogee, Sydney. Client brief was to create customised table tennis decks in plywood incorporating geometric shapes.

 

JAPANESE-INSPIRED PLATFORM BED

Platform Bed

Client desired a king-size Japanese-inspired platform bed frame with integrated bedside tables.

LIBRARY LADDER

Client lives in “an old federation apartment building with high ceilings and have built-ins that go up to the 3.8m ceilings” and desired a modern yet classic A-frame timber step ladder. Made from Blackbutt and New Guinea Rosewood.

VALET CHAIR

Client brief extract: “A ‘valet chair’ made for my husband’s birthday. A chair with features that allows you to hang coat hangers (with shirts), pants, coats and possibly a box under the seat for cufflinks and/or a rack down bottom for shoes. He loves minimalist and mid century design…”

SLAB DINING TABLE

One of two tables made for the same client, this table is made from a solid slab of Mountain Ash.

 

BREAKFAST BAR & BENCH

A surprise birthday gift for her partner, the client worked with Anthony Byrne to create a narrow breakfast bar and bench for their apartment balcony overlooking the beach.
